Good Day

i must say, today has been one of the best, funnest days at work. so we have a birthday lunch for 3 people i work with...free pizza and cake! most amazing cake ever!!! next: i have to set this up first...we have a "food cube" where people around the office put left over pizza or sandwiches or softdrinks...usually from a big meeting or birthday thing...where there's alot of food left. so this one lady always sends out an email to around 75-100 people in the office letting them know. today: ted, one of the designers found an old tub of butter that has been in our mini fridge for about 2 years...bad...he then placed it in the food cube and then emailed all 100 people on the list simply saying, "butter in the food cube." to me, that is funny enough, but the funnier thing is he sent it from this girl casey's computer so it looked like it came from her...she gets super embarrassed about stuff so she wouldn't leave her desk. everyone keeps coming by and saying, "did you make butter?" and "what the?" the story goes on, and gets funnier, but i imagine i might be the only one who finds this funny besides my co-workers. we have seriously spent 3 hours laughing and just talking today. that's saying alot when you work in an uptight, grey cubicle city, kind of place. oh, and i spent the first couple hours making this poster for our receptionist ruth. very little work was done today.

so i survived the all-nighter in the chick-fil-a drive through.  i worked all day yesterday...flew home....changed clothes....chilled at the fil-a for about 13 hours....went home at 6:30 in the am....slept one hour....and went back to work arriving 30min before a big meeting!  but i am 52 chick-fil-a meals richer!!!  whoo hoo.  in other news i'm really tired.

might play some poker tomorrow night...anyone wants in, give me a call.

started looking into new zealand in addition to australia...man, decisions.  both look pretty stinking amazing.  i mean lord of the rings and all...pretty beautiful.

going to bed.

HERE GOES

i have nothing really exciting to say...but here's what i got.

i'm working on a list of things to do and places to go before i die.
a few items on that list:

get a book published
do some voice over work
spend some time in italy (vacation)
live in another country for a time
write a good song...a good song

many more to be added, but just a start.  and i'm already working to achieve some of these...thanks to help from friends...

so matt hoffer comes up to me on saturday night and says, "do you want to move to australia?"  i say, "sure, when?"  the answer may be next summer.  who knows for sure, but by then i would have much of my debt paid off...not all most likely, but a huge chunk.  i've already looked at job listings.  so i figure i'll keep working my tail off at american and try to become the best designer in the world!!!!...or just the best i can be for my limited experience...one or the other....and then get a short term freelance job in sydney or something.  the program i would go with is the same i went to london with.  it's a great program at a very reasonable price.  and i figure, live it up while i can.  you can only get a visa if you are under 30, so that means i have 2 years to go.  2 years and i'll be 30!!!  what the...

okay, off to ride my bike.

oh, and i've gained 10 lbs. in the last 7 months!!!  all in my belly.
